Create & Cultivate is an amazing collection of bossy bitches who are forging their own professional paths and inspiring others along the way. I was lucky enough to join a panel at their Chicago conference last Spring, and it was the Most. Empowering. Day. Ever!
Obviously I follow their social media and have their blog bookmarked (you should too for insightful career advice and general inspiration), which is why I was so excited when they asked me to contribute!
One thing I come up against all the time is how to buck the norm and create your own success. Obviously in a fashion industry that’s dominated by the word “small,” being big is sooo not the status quo. But for me, learning to accept and love my big self is what unlocked not only my self acceptance but my career too.
