These One-And-Done Kaftans Are Your Summertime BFF

The best way to look hot and feel cool on a summer day is hands down a kaftan! Sometimes people think they’re only for the beach, when really there are so many out there that work just as well IRL as they do poolside.

I’m giving kaftans their day in the sun (lol) because no one loves them more than me!! On a hot day, they’re breezy, loose-fitting, easy to throw on and so chic. It’s one & done dressing at its best — just add Thigh Rescue and Bust Dust of course to keep everything chafe-and-sweat-free and you’re good to go 🙂

From boho to sporty and beyond, there’s a kaftan out there for everyone… here are the 3 I’m living in right now!

I love a rich hippie vibe and Roberta Roller Rabbit is a go-to brand of mine for easy, boho styles. This Tapati Mix Kiran Kaftan is about as easy and versatile as it gets! Wear it to the farmer’s market, the pool, a lunch meeting, out shopping… the options are endless. It’s perfect at the beach but not too beachy that you can’t wear it out and about.

It was love at first sight between me and this Koza Mesh Oversized Kaftan (and FYI I heard the brand name just changed from Koza to Paradise Lost). You know I’m a sucker for anything sporty and this one has all the athletic bells and whistles of my dreams — a mesh jersey fabric that breathes really well (as in literal NBA jersey fabric!), a lace-up detail running up the side and POCKETS which is always the best. My blue version is sold out, but scoop it up in black or try this similar style in blue (on sale!).

And finally, if you don’t want to deal with something quite as “fashion-y,” I love this Inca Abaya caftan by Pitusa. It’s easy, cute and comes in a zillion summery sorbet colors. The fabric is semi-sheer, making it a no-brainer for the pool, but trust me! It works just as well for everyday errands with a full coverage bra + underwear situation underneath (big earrings optional, of course).
