If you’re new to the blog and my Supersize the Look series – welcome. And if you’ve been here before – welcome back 🙂 Supersize the Look looks are some of my favorite to shoot because they prove great style is not restricted to a certain size. Keep reading to find out for yourself how to re-create my most recent SSTL’s.
Tracee Ellis Ross is everything right now – actress, style inspiration, and a champion for the #MeToo movement, there’s not much she can’t do. When I saw her showing a little skin in this gorgeous pink wrap dress, I knew I had to copy the look for my bod, too. I scored mine from Amazon (similar here) and paired it with my trusty Stuart Weitzmans and a skinny belt to add definition between the waist and chest, just like TER did. Add whatever pair of hoops you’ve got on hand, put your hair in a top knot, and you’re good to go!
For a very special Supersize the Look: Couples Edition, I asked my good friend Ryan of Extra Extra Style to team up with me and recreate Harry and Meghan’s royal style. Meghan’s classic style is so effortless and chic. Start with your basic black turtleneck (mine’s by Eloquii, up to a size 28), add a great khaki skirt, a skinny belt to cinch it all in, and your favorite boots to complete the look. As for Ryan, he feels, “Supersize the Look is one of my favorite posts that Katie does, and off-duty prince is my favorite kind of prince. He’s wearing basic styles, but you can tell it’s THE BEST quality. Everybody deserves to feel royal, no matter your size or shape!” And we couldn’t agree more 🙂
