Stealing Alexa’s Stripes and Pleats

Today’s outfit is unofficially brought to you by Alexa Chung, who looks so cute in her skirt + sweater combo that I had to recreate it!

I love a dressed up look that doesn’t try too hard, and this one gets it just right. A metallic skirt with heels sounds fancy, but add in a tomboy-ish striped crewneck knit and the end result is cozy, chic and perfect for Fall.

I’m wearing this gunmetal pleated midi skirt by Eloquii, which will look just as good later this season with over-the-knee boots. My sweater is by Brooks Brothers (size XL) and is the kind of classic striped knit you’ll never regret owning. Plus, both pieces are under $100!

To finish the look, just add comfy block heels and a bright bag. It’s a perfect Fall look, do you agree??
