I love a new season for so many reasons…a good chance to push the reset button, fresh outfit inspiration, and you’re typically one step closer to the season you actually want to be in – hint, hint, summer. If you know me, you know I’m not shy when it comes to color. All black is a total snooze for me and beige is just a supporting color in my wardrobe, not the main act, so I decided to really taste the rainbow with these looks.
I first saw this lavender and red color combination on a Paris Fashion Week street style photo and it really got my heart thumping.
Luckily, ELOQUII had the answer to my prayers with these two separates – a long tailored blazer and pop of color pant. Add in a fun fanny, retro sunglasses, and loafers that are size 12 approved and you’re good to go!
This next look may or may not have been inspired by the lovely ladies of Pan Am. Also, this is exactly what I’d wear to work, on the days I leave my apartment…
Grab the striped top you have in your closet and go from there. A pencil skirt is a classic, and when it’s hot pink, it’s even better. Don’t take the easy way out and opt for black or navy – spice it up here!! My complimentary color accessories like this Mansur Gavriel clutch, Prada shades, and vintage Chanel scarf round out the look.
How’s spring looking for you?
