Finally! Summer is in full swing. And with my Summer 2019 Stitch Fix collection, I wanted to make clothes you can rock in the heat, whether you’re on vacation or in the office.
When I met with the Stitch Fix team out in San Francisco last Fall I was so impressed with how seriously they took fit. I was really attracted to having Stitch Fix as a partner because I knew their fit specialists would understand and excel at making a full size range. Stitch Fix’s care for their customers is loud and clear in their attention to detail. Their approach to fit understands the importance of making things to scale between sizes, and their expert stylists use algorithms to insure the clothing in every fix will work with your body. I’m so happy everyone can take part in the fun of my collection, available in sizes 0 through 24.
This is my first time working on a collection that is fully size inclusive, not just plus! And as the first collection of 4, I’ve learned so much during this initial experience. I really appreciate your enthusiasm as you get to know the process and stay with me as I continue to develop clothes that I (and you!) want to wear.
It’s vulnerable to create something and share it with the world, especially since clothing is so personal. I’ve found it to be so different than working on megababe, because while megababe products are made to fit certain needs, a clothing collection is something I hope people want.
Stitch Fix was an amazing partner through this process because they took my vision seriously and allowed my unconventional personal style come through in my collection. From the lookbook to the launch dinner, it was so cool that a brand as big and innovative as Stitch Fix let me drive the vision and make my dream collection come to life! I also loved how Stitch Fix is a female founded company and encourages you to dress outside your comfort zone by introducing pieces you may not seek out yourself.
