When it comes to my fiancé getting dressed I am typically very involved. Not because he’s so helpless, but because I think it’s fun to dress him! My fun, however, is often cut short by the same problems I have when dressing myself. Finding activewear for men larger than 1X has always been a struggle because if the sizes do go up, they tend to extend to be taller, but not bigger.
When Bonobos launched their extended sizes earlier this year, I was thrilled! I said it before and I’ll say it again, their customer service in store is better than any women’s shopping experience I’ve ever had in store and I love supporting them.
Summer is coming soon and that means we will be traveling, sweating, golfing, and playing tennis, making good activewear necessary. I love that Bonobos extended their line into golf because that’s such a rare sight! I also love the tiny check detail and in the shorts he’s wearing in size 50. Bonobos has 4 different fits in pants and 2 different fits in shirts because they know every body is different. That being said, both the pants and shirt fit true to size. Even if your man doesn’t golf, check out the styles because a lot of them are easily translatable into a summer wardrobe moment. The performance fabric is something he can appreciate as the temps climb and the styles will make you feel all the feels.
