As I recently mini-ranted, finding my size when brick and mortar shopping can be way harder than it should be. I get it, “extended sizes are online.” But what about when I want to walk into a store and try clothes on?
Enter Hey Gorgeous!, a new 12ish favorite that was just featured on Katie Couric. They recently moved and their new digs include a lovely showroom. With the move, founder Aimee Cheshire set out to make an amazing space for 12ish and up girls to get individual shopping attention, discover new brands and try new silhouettes.
Shopping at the Hey Gorgeous! showroom is by appointment only, but luckily making an appointment takes about 3 seconds online. I highly suggest giving it a try – not only will you have a store full of cute clothes in your size, but a personal stylist at your disposal too.
When it comes to clothing, I know what I like, but a stylist is so helpful at putting pieces together that I wouldn’t always think of. Like pairing this Jessica Simpson blush pink coat with this Marina Rinaldi leather emerald dress, one of my favorite looks of the day.
This Marina Rinaldi button down was another favorite. It has a Just Cavalli vibe that I love, and front-tucked into these Lauren Moshi and Michael Lauren drapey pants I felt very effortless, comfy and Cali-cool.
This matching Shegul silk maxi skirt and high neck silk blouse set was definitely a showstopper. I love the overdose of pattern (I know… I’m so predictable) and the flattering black panels on the skirt.
P.S. Have you entered our Hey Gorgeous! giveaway yet? One lucky reader will win a $500 shopping spree at the Hey Gorgeous! showroom, so enter, enter, enter!
