An Apple A Day…

Katie Sturino / The 12ish Style

As much as I love summer, fall is definitely the best time to be outside doing things. It’s so refreshing to move around and live your life without melting into a human puddle 20 times a day!

On the weekends right now, I’m trying to be outside and active as much as possible — basically trying to squeeze in as much fresh air as possible before winter hibernation begins.

I wear a lot of Outdoor Voices in my downtime, and am loving their Rec Kit for these not cold / not hot fall days. For outings where you aren’t exactly running a marathon but are doing more than sitting on the couch — like apple picking (my fav!!), long dog walks, pumpkin farm visits etc — it’s the way to go!

Nothing feels easier or more comfy than head-to-toe stretchy, sweat-wicking fabric. It’s like a big spandex hug in the best possible way! With a comfy sneaker, it’s a much more practical way to hit the apple orchard than wearing jeans and over-the-knee boots, plus it feels so much cuter to me than being in the same cliché fall look every other girl is wearing.

My chest is not small, and finding tops with built in support that actually hold me up is tough. The Athena crop from the kit is really good and has more than enough support for these kinds of low impact activities. The matching leggings hold me in in a good (ie not constricting) way. I’m wearing XL (and color Dove) in both!

If you haven’t tried Outdoor Voices yet and are looking for your new #doingthings weekend uniform, I’m telling you this is it! The Rec Kit is the way to go – the bundled price is better than buying the pieces separately and you can mix-and-match styles and colors to find your perfect set. Let me know if you try it!!

And for first-time customers who are shopping the site, use code Katie20 for 20% off your order, kits and 3rd party merch not included. But maybe you need this jacket? Ok bye!

Thank you Outdoor Voices for sponsoring this post!
